Obligations that the genuine follower of Christ not only does not have to have, but also stunt his capacity to love in Christ because to some degree he has made the World his proprietor as opposed to God.

W-4 or 1099 form — willful liability for federal income tax as non-resident alien or government employee

By constitutional law, domestically earned income by a non-government employee is not subject to federal income tax — it is non-taxable income. An individual living by Christ and following the precepts of the Kingdom is even farther beyond the reach of the World — he is not just tax-exempt but tax-free. This principle about tribute has Scriptural support — most notably Genesis 14, Deuteronomy 23, 1 Samuel 8, 2 Kings 20, Ezra 7, Nehemiah 5, Ezekiel 45, Matthew 17, and Romans 13.

The lie: Man is the only one who makes your value.

The truth: God is the One who ultimately sets the value of anything. He may ask you to give tribute to those such as Caesar to whom it is due — otherwise give to God what is due Him. It requires Scriptural wisdom to know which is which. (For more on the nature of tax liability: click here)

Voter registration

By making an official claim to formally select political agents, one is making himself bound by all laws the Catholicist World System puts into effect (as opposed to the perfect “law of Christ” – 1 Corinthians 9), bringing himself under prosecutorial jurisdiction of the Agency of Cain. (Note that naturalized citizenship does not require voter registration as a prerequisite.)

The lie: The only way for you, or anyone, to do good is to live under the law. You are obligated then to act on this by being a card-carrying member of the organization.

The truth: You may live in the grace and truth of Christ, and free from the power of sin, which is in the law and leads to death.

501(c)(3) exemption — and membership in a church that is beholden as such

By signing on to such a provision, an organization is exchanging compliance with Cain in a number of different concrete areas (e.g. “Do not announce a position for a political candidate”) for a tax exemption — something it does not need to begin with.

The lie: The World System's government must dictate what you can and cannot say or do. It is said by so many, "If you can't trust the government, who can you trust?"

The truth: You may say or do what you will by the light of Scripture. It informs us about love for God, love for neighbor, even love for enemy which makes us as wise as serpents but innocent as doves. Mortgage / debt contract

By incessantly borrowing, one is serving materialism (mammon), and living as such contributes to meaninglessness — ultimately spiritual death. Many times this comes out of violation of the Tenth Commandment about coveting.

The lie: You are not enslaved, and you are completely free to maximize your material well-being. Freedom is autonomy — it is best to rely only on yourself.

The truth: You are enslaved to the creditor who sets the value of your talent. Worship of self is enslavement to sin. True freedom is loving God by obeying His commands, chief of which is loving others as He loved.

(Scripture note: The word "borrow" in any form appears in the entire Bible a mere 14 times, and only once in the New Testament, in Matthew 5 when Jesus speaks really of giving, not borrowing — "Do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you." In most of these cases, the term has a pejorative connotation and refers to contractually obligating oneself to the lender, making one his slave. Just for comparison, the word "believe" or "belief" in any form appears just in the single book of John 79 times, and means such bold, active trust in the object — the person of Jesus — that something real and vibrant is anticipated as a result of that trust.)

Federal Reserve Note

Currency deemed legal tender merely by declaration that it counts—indeed it is “fiat” money, an inconvertible standard that has as its backing only what we all think about it. With its management of these notes, the Federal Reserve assumes a claim on our productive capacity and personally generated wealth by charging interest on that fiat money. As collateral for its borrowing, Congress uses the citizen’s productive capacity in the form of taxes.

The lie: Truthfully valued economic exchanges can take place without honoring God’s intrinsic assessment of value.

The truth: A currency is only as good as the value it represents, and if God is not the true, accurate, reliable assessor of that value, then mammon reigns, and with it all the virulent destruction and sorrow. Because of the deceit employed by all who enter into economic exchanges without Christ, the World most commonly utilizes the services of one of two things to constrain that deceit and mitigate its effects: a precious metal standard or a central bank. Both are woefully inadequate for serving the purpose of "honest weights and measures" but World inhabitants are habitually resigned to them when they don't have Christ.

Social Security registration

Being assigned a federal identification allows the government to track the individual and his income, and makes government the administrator of one’s wealth and care.

The lie: Government must take care of you when you are least able to provide for yourself. No one loves you enough to help take care of you, so government must.

The truth: God is big enough and loving enough to care for you in any circumstances. Death comes to us all at the end of this temporal state, and those living out His truth and grace by the blood of Christ will pass into eternal fellowship with Him and His.

Other contracts that may very well compromise one's desire to live in an Acts 2 community are marriage licenses, pre-nuptial agreements, driver's licenses (as identification), patents and copyrights, insurance agreements, and certain kinds of commercial permits and registrations.

The Catholicist who lives religiously without Christ must sustain his life in a fearful world through these contractual agreements. The one who has allowed Christ to make his heart His home loves to the extent that God is his seal, and his word is all that is necessary. That expression is manifest fully in that Acts 2 community where all other members are cared for in His love.

“Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not break your oath, but keep the oaths you have made to the Lord.’ But I tell you, Do not swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God's throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black. Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.” - Matthew 5: 33-37
